Entry of the Intruder
Gerrard was talking over the phone when the intruder (a criminal) came into the room with a gun in his hand. Gerrard was shocked at this but he kept himself calm and did not panic.
He tried to ask his name but he did not tell his name. The intruder was much interested in knowing the full name of Gerrard. He also wanted to know about his habits, his talking styles and about his other activities. Gerrard was very surprised to know that the intruder knew a few things about him.
जेरार्ड फोन पर बात कर रहे थे जब घुसपैठिया (एक अपराधी) हाथ में बंदूक लिए कमरे में आया। जिरार्ड इस पर चौंक गए लेकिन उन्होंने खुद को शांत रखा और घबराए नहीं।
उसने अपना नाम पूछने की कोशिश की लेकिन उसने अपना नाम नहीं बताया। घुसपैठिये को जेरार्ड का पूरा नाम जानने में बहुत दिलचस्पी थी। वह उसकी आदतों, उसके बोलने के ढंग और उसकी अन्य गतिविधियों के बारे में भी जानना चाहता था। गेरार्ड को यह जानकर बहुत आश्चर्य हुआ कि घुसपैठिया उसके बारे में कुछ बातें जानता था।
Surprise to Gerrard
Gerrard engaged intruder in a conversation and came to know that the intruder wanted to kill him and take his identity. He was a jewel thief and was chased by the police for murdering a cop.
गेरार्ड ने बातचीत में घुसपैठिए को उलझा दिया और पता चला कि घुसपैठिया उसे मार कर उसकी पहचान लेना चाहता है। वह एक गहना चोर था और पुलिस द्वारा एक सिपाही की हत्या के लिए उसका पीछा किया गया था।
Gerrard Made a False Story
When Gerrard knew the intention of the intruder, he made a false story to save himself and capture the intruder. He told the intruder that he couldn’t kill him because he too was wanted by the police. He made it sound real by telling him that he has to live in isolation as he too is being chased by the police.
जब जेरार्ड को घुसपैठिए की मंशा का पता चला तो उसने खुद को बचाने और घुसपैठिए को पकड़ने के लिए एक झूठी कहानी रच दी। उसने घुसपैठिये से कहा कि वह उसे नहीं मार सकता क्योंकि पुलिस को उसकी भी तलाश है। उसने यह कहकर इसे वास्तविक बना दिया कि उसे अलगाव में रहना है क्योंकि उसका भी पुलिस द्वारा पीछा किया जा रहा है।
Intruder Fell into the Story of Gerrard
At first, intruder didn’t believe Gerrard but the decorative items and materials for appearances forced him to trust his words. Therefore, he decided to run away with Gerrard in his car. Gerrard pushed him into the cupboard instead of going in the garage. Then, he called his friend and asked him to send the cop at his home.
पहले तो, घुसपैठिए ने जेरार्ड पर विश्वास नहीं किया लेकिन सजावटी वस्तुओं और दिखावे के लिए सामग्री ने उसे अपनी बातों पर भरोसा करने के लिए मजबूर कर दिया। इसलिए, उसने अपनी कार में जेरार्ड के साथ भागने का फैसला किया। जेरार्ड ने गैरेज में जाने के बजाय उसे अलमारी में धकेल दिया। फिर, उसने अपने दोस्त को बुलाया और उसे अपने घर पर सिपाही भेजने के लिए कहा।
Conclusion of If I Were You
The Chapter – If I Were You teaches the lesson to students that we must not be over-confident and remain vigilant about our surroundings, so that even in tough circumstances, we maintain cool-headedness and are able to handle critical situations with ease.
अध्याय – अगर मैं तुम होते तो छात्रों को यह पाठ पढ़ाता है कि हमें अति-आत्मविश्वासी नहीं होना चाहिए और अपने परिवेश के प्रति सतर्क रहना चाहिए, ताकि कठिन परिस्थितियों में भी हम शांतचित्त बने रहें और महत्वपूर्ण परिस्थितियों को आसानी से संभालने में सक्षम हों।
